I know this is an old post but I went to mercardo 28 today and found the souvenirs to be overpriced!! I paid 0 peso (AUD) for a bucket hat. I feel like this is too expensive for Mexico. Can you recommend cheap markets in Cancun or Playa del Carmen?There is plenty of shopping on Playa Del Carmen’s 5th Avenue with about 20 blocks of stores. We have narrowed it down to the best boutiques and unique stores for the fashionista.
