I recently purchased the EDT version of this fragrance, but can anyone tell me if there is a big difference between the EDT and the parfum versions of this scent? I am trying to decide if I should return it to Nordstrom, and purchase the parfum version instead. thanks for any insights.I have both (Mademoiselle EDT & EDP, #5 EDP) and I'd say #5 is more of an acquired taste. Mademoiselle EDT is super-versatile, I can wear it anywhere from going to the gym or to a night out and it's never inappropriate or too much. My favorite is the parfum, followed by the EDT. Eau Premiere is also very lovely, and they just released a smaller size, 100ml, I think. The No.5 sensual elixir (gel based) is very good also, and as lilybelle has often pointed out, is similar to EP. I find the EDP to be unwearable, but I know some do love it. I have been using Chanel No.5 Edt for almost thirty years now. It has always been my favourite formula and the current Edt is still beautiful and in my opinion quite true to the old version. I much prefer it over Edp and even parfum.
